Currently green house grown. Celery is packed with hydrating fluid - a natural way of obtaining the minerals we need. Tastes good too. use raw, or add to soup and stews. Great with fish.
Rich in vitamin C and with a flavour all of its own. Previously grown by mining communties as it will does well even in low light and temperatures and still produce much needed fresh heatlhy greens when little else was available.
New crop just starting. Perfect garnish for raw and cooked food, lovely ingredient for fresh bread to accompany summer salads.

A recent addition to the English table even within our lifetimes, it seems that we never seem to be able grow enough of these incredibly popular bulbs. Dried Spanish bulbs still available now ours are finished. Garlic is a natural cleanser, and has anti-viral, anti-biotic and anti-fungal properties. Help keep those colds at bay!
Ginger is warming, helps blood flow around the body, and is a tonic to the system. This ginger root is from Peru, and is particularly moist and tasty. Add it to soups and stews, curries, or steep in hot water and add lemon and honey for a winter warmer.

Lush new season rocket. Out tunnel grown Rocket varies in leaf size according to whether baby leaves or more mature leaves are being cut.
Fabulous blend of leaves, some peppery; A seasonal selection of chinese leaves designed to be chopped and mixed as required. A peppery flavoured salad which can also be used in stir fries.
Thyme is well known for it's wonderful subtle flavour. A little goes a long way.
This turmeric root comes from Peru. Use it to flavour any dish - especially of course a curry. Turmeric has well established medicinal properties. HIghly recommended.
